What we did on Winter Break

We Read..

Both boys love to read especially before bed. Right now Peter's favorite book is GoodNight Moon and Jonah's is a book of Military Jets.

We Got Mail..

Thanks Grandma for the goody box with treats and clothes. Notice Peter trying to get a sample of Jonah's candy.

We Played in the Snow..

There was a nice snowfall at the beginning of the week. I was grateful for the opportunity for outside play!

This was actually the first snowman that we've built this year. Believe it or not, we have not had that much snow this season!

We played video games.

Jonah used the money he had saved up from birthday and Christmas to buy Mario Cart for the Wii. Notice how his entire body turns in whatever direction the steering wheel is going. Before we had him sit down he was "driving" all over the room!

We tried on funny hats.

Peter found this hat in a box in his closet and insisted on wearing it one morning. The hat was John's when he was a baby I believe an aunt made it for him. It's a teeny bit small for Peter.

We played with blocks.

Actually I fell asleep on the couch one afternoon for about 20mins. (while Peter was napping) and awoke to find that Jonah had built a block city all around the family room.

I had been laying on that pillow. I had no idea he was putting blocks right above my head! Can you tell that Mommy is exhausted.
